Liza Holland
Welcome. I am Liza Holland and we look forward to working with you. Our belief is that continual learning is a key to success. Holland Management Services was founded in 1996 by Liza Holland. Liza brings 25+ years of an incredibly diverse background to bear on projects and events for her clients. Early on, her skills were built working for the international private club company Club Corporation of America, where she learned excellence in event management, customer service, sales, management and public relations. In 1993, Liza co-founded Client Information Access, a business development and consulting company which soon diversified to include a publishing venture, The Kentucky Medical News. During these years Liza delved into publishing, editing, reporting, strategic planning, marketing development/research and customer service in the areas of healthcare, real estate, finance and more. In 1996, Holland Management Services was created. Liza became Executive Director of the American Youth Horse Council and the KY Horse Council, where she was able to lead and develop statewide and national organizations to expand operations and funding sources. Liza has since expanded into voice over, event management and freelance writing and has become very involved in education in Kentucky. Serving many industries, including animal health, veterinary, animal rescue, education, art, community non-profits, medical, and more. Communications, problems solving, organization, systems, and advocacy are a specialty. |
Robert Holland, DVM, Phd.
Dr. Holland is known around the world as the person you call when you don’t know what to do with an infectious disease. He has worked globally consulting with countries and jurisdictions to contain and prevent spread of disease. He has worked domestically with the USDA and many state veterinarians. Having studied at the Gluck Equine Research Center in Lexington, KY and collaborated with such institutions as the Animal Health Trust, Dr. Holland is well versed in how to make your horse healthy again.
The practice has focused on respiratory disease, allergies and infectious disease. Well known for being able to solve cases which have frustrated others, Dr. Holland has introduced many new therapies and diagnostics to equine medicine in Kentucky. In his early years of practice, he had the unique opportunity to conduct endoscopic exams on hundreds of horses at the racetrack during the sponging scare. It has given him a unique knowledge of the anatomy of the equine throat very few veterinarians share. Dr. Holland is a dedicated proponent of diagnostics. Treating with the right medications for the particular infection at hand. This saves a great deal of trial and error time and allows your horses to get back to competition sooner. Quality disinfection to prevent the spread of disease is another area of expertise for Dr. Holland. Given his background, Dr. Holland has studied all current disinfection protocols in both animal and human medicine. He has adopted the best protocols for the equine environment.
